Boyfriend getting ready to rock in Japan's showcase

Today marks the 400th day of Boyfriend's debut in the Korean music industry. Boyfriend is now in Japan, ready for their first ever showcase in Japan on June 30th in Budokan after their debut weeks ago in Japan. Boyfriend updated their Official Japanese Twitter account with a photo and some captions.

Alongside with the twitter update, few non official Boyfriend fan clubs on Facebook uploaded a photo of the Jo Twins(YoungMin and KwangMin) with a Japanese model/actress/host I suppose. The photo drew much attention from fans, wanna know why? The photo speaks for itself.

SNSD's SeoHyun celebrated her birthday with close friends!

SNSD's SeoHyun celebrated her 22nd birthday with some of her close friends in an open-aired restaurant. EunHyuk, being one of SeoHyun's close friends have been tweeting live photos to share with his fans.

He first tweeted, "Last night… I received a Kakao Talk message from Seohyun saying, 'Oppa, what are you doing tomorrow night??' I asked back, 'Why, what's up?' Seohyun said, 'I'm going to have a birthday party with some close friends!!^^' I replied back, 'Then why are you inviting me…' Anyway, I headed there tonight to wish her a happy birthday. Unexpectedly, I ended up being the first person to arrive."

In the next photo with a caption, he tweeted, "We’re drinking juice… Suffocating awkwardness". SeoHyun was pouring him a drink in the photo tweeted.

After KyuHyun arrived, EunHyuk uploaded a group photo with KyuHyun included. Tweeting, "After 30 minutes, Kyuhyun arrived! Still kind of a weird combination. We tried to make it look like a bright environment"

Finally, HeeChul, SooYoung, JinWoon and Amber arrived. Excitedly, EunHyuk tweeted a photo with the caption, "Heenim and Sooyoung arrived!! It’s getting better. But where are Seohyun’s friends…” and “An hour after the promised time, Seohyun’s real friend Jinwoon and Amber arrived!! Seohyun, is this the group photo you were looking for?”

At least, YoonA and Sunny arrived with SeoHyun's birthday cake. Lastly, EunkHyuk tweeted, "YoonA and Sunny arrived with cake!!!! This ended up being SuJu&SoShi&JYP Jinwoon kekeke. I left after that. I heard that Leeteuk and Changmin came after me. Anyway, happy birthday, Seohyun^^."

I wonder why not all SNSD members show up. Aren't they all close to the maknae? o.o busy maybe...

ZE:A unveils Spectacular photo teasers

ZE:A will be making their comeback soon as they had just released their photo teasers 2 days ago. The boys tried a very different concept this time as all of them were potraying cyborgs. The maknae, DongJun exposed and showed off his bare chest and toned body. Their comeback title would be "Spectacular".

Boyfriend celebrates their 400th day anniversary

Bestfriend celebrated Boyfriend's 400th day debut anniversary. It is a memorable day for Boyfriend as it marked their 400th day debuting with the boy group name, Boyfriend. Starship Entertainment and Boyfriend themselves wanted to be the perfect boyfriend to their fans, that's why they named themselves Boyfriend. Tacky but cute. In conjuction with the anniversary, Boyfriend's leader DongHyun updated their Official Twitter account with a picture and caption.

Jay Park to hold autograph session in Malaysia after MTV World Stage 2012

Jay Park will be holding an autograph session exclusively in conjuction with his New Breed Repackage album launch in Malaysia. MTV World Stage 2012 which will be held in July 14th will also have Jay Park in the major line-up, follow by Justin Bieber, Kara and Mizz Nina. Jay Park will be having the autograph session a day after MTV World Stage 2012.

Lee SeungGi carries olympic torch for 2012 London Olympics in London

Lee SeungGi recently travelled to England to carry the olympic torch for the torch relay of the 2012 London Olympics in London. As one of the main sponsor for the olympics, Samsung reserved the right to chose a number of torchbearers and thus Lee SeungGi was chosen as he istheir endorser for the refridgerator line.

Many fans in England came to Manchester to support Lee SeungGi while he carries the torch on June 23rd.

IU and B2ST's GiKwang plays the role as baby ocean turtles?

It was reported early that IU and B2ST's GiKwang is casted to dub in the upcoming animation film "Sammy's Adventures 2". IU is going to dub the ocean turtle named "Ella" while GiKwang will be taking Sammy's best friend "Ricky".
Ella and Ricky set off an adventure journey to save their friend, Sammy and Ray who are both caught to Dubai. Previously, f(x)'s Sulli and Big Bang's DaeSung dubbed Sammy and Shelly in the first movie. "Sammy's Adventures 2" will be hitting the cinema on August.

SISTAR unveils photos for Loving U MV

SISTAR is making their comeback so soon as they just wrapped up their comeback few weeks a ago for Alone. SISTAR is now back on track with their title track, Loving U. This MV is much anticipated by fans as it was filmed in the magnificient Hawaii. Judging by the photo released, Hawaii definetely made the girls shine like marine dolls.

The album is expected to be released on June 28th, Starship Entertainment posted 2 photos of the girls dressed in cute mini marine outfits, throwing killer smiles under the sun in Hawaii. Their toned legs was obviosuly the focus of the photo.

Representatives stated, "Their summer special album ‘Loving U’ will see the girls shed their original image and go for something cuter and brighter. The beautiful views of Hawaii and the tricks shown by the professional surfers will be the focus points of the music video."

SISTAR's summer special album will also include remixes of SISTAR's past hit songs, collaborating with Foundation Record.

Super Junior 6th album comeback photo teaser revealed!

As excited as everybody else is, ELFs are definetely dying to keep track on the photo teaser of Super Junior's 6th album "Sexy, Free & Single" released by SM Entertainment. The first photo teaser to be unveiled was EunHyuk. The comeback of Super Junior's album was announced to be on July 1st. KangIn will also be joining their comeback after returning not long ago from the army.

The second photo released by SM Entertainment is DongHae. DongHae was seen covering a white webbed cloth in his head, wearing a see-through black shirt, he is the perfect goddess in ELF's eyes. Well he definetely seems like one to me! It was announced that the offline release will be on July 4th.

Continue on with the photo teaser, the next to be revealed and much anticipated by fans was the leader, LeeTeuk, followed by RyeoWook. The concept of the comeback for the album still remained a mystery as no official announcement is made till now. And not to mention, the teaser photos definetely looks mysterious. As expected, SM Entertainment likes to reveal series of teasers that doesn't quite relates to the concept so fans will have to keep their fingers crossed to it.

SM then released both teaser photos for YeSung and ShinDong. YeSung looked different from the previous concept and it suits him incrediblely well. The feeling he possessed through the photo gave me a similiar feeling to SNSD Jessica's The Boys teaser photo. Both so elegant and mysteriously gorgeous.

The latest photo teaser released was KangIn and SungMin's. KangIn came back from the army a few weeks ago and was immediately throwing himself into the preparation for the 6th album.

Members that haven't have their photo teaser released are KyuHyun and SiWon. HeeChul was enlisted in the army so he wasn't able to join the comeback. As for member KiBum, he hasn't join any of the comeback since their hit song Sorry Sorry ended promotion.

TvN Kpop Star Hunt season 2 making their way to Malaysia and Japan!

TvN's Kpop Star Hunt have been gaining lots of attention from the kpop stars wannabe. Cube Entertainment, CJ E&M and TvN had confirmed to continue a season 2 to search for the next kpop star. Previously in season 1, various contestants from different countries such as Thailand, Taiwan, HongKong, Phillipines and Singapore have made it to the top 11. Firstly, contestants would have to upload their audition clips on the website and only around 100 eligible contestants are chosen to be auditioning live in front of the judges and other selected contestants. From the 100, 2 potential winners will be announced and will be sent to Korea to pursue their dream.

Last season's finalist were Sorn from Thailand and Rince from Phillipines. The other who made it to the top 11 and was broadcasted in TvN was Lucica and Chris from Taiwan, Charmaine and Charlene from Phillipines, Jasmine and Maressa from Singapore, Andy and Nicola from HongKong, and June from Thailand. I'm happy to say that for season 2, Malaysia and Japan is finally added into the list of countries that auditions will be held to determine the next kpop superstar! Boyfriend ranks 1st on Oricon's Weekly Foreign Music Chart

Boyfriend was reported to have a sky rocketing popularity growth over in Korea and also Japan. Starship Entertainment revealed that Boyfriend is currently ranking number 1 on Oricon's Weekly Foreign Music Chart with their new Japanese version "We are BOYFRIEND".

Boyfriend will be launching their first Japan showcase "First Date with Boyfriend in Japan" at Budokan on the 30th of June to officially kick off their Japanese promotion. As a rookie group who had just celebrated the first anniversary of their debut, Boyfriend is rising fast in the entertainment industry with their charms and talents. It is quite a large-scale showcase for a rookie group who had just debut in Japan less than a month to capture the attention of the Japanese fans and conquer the music charts.

Surprisingly, Boyfriend is scehdule to release a Japanese debut single "Kimio Hanasai" on August 22nd. Oh boys, please get some rest :')

Boyfriend is going to release their first photobook this coming August. It is inclusive of Boyfriend's exclusive behind-the-scene photos from debut till now. Various unreleased photo will also be publicize in the photobook. The photobook is called "BOYFRIEND 1st Photo Story 365 Days". Refering to the title, we can know that the photobook will include lots of pictures of the boys attending different events, showcase, music show, variety show, commercial shoot, MV making, fan sign event, Japanese debut and many other more. Love Style album revealed!

A few fans over in Korea have purchased Love Style album and have uploaded a few photos of the album online to share it with Bestfriends all around thew world who have been dying to eye on one. Boyfriend's Love Style included a poster and also a random photocard of the members in the album. This is one of the example of the album of the fans who got YoungMin's photocard.

Boyfriend for Wonder Boys?

It was rumored that Boyfriend, with their increasing popularity will be doing a new variety show after W Academy called Wonder Boy. Rumour or no, I'm sure bestfriends will be happy with the variety show as we can see more sides of Boyfriend rather than the perfect image we received from Starship Entertainment. Boyfriend is well knowed with their young and dorky side while shooting W Academy. Previously on W Academy, the show had good ratings and was highly viewd by many bestfriends all over the world such as Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, USA, China, and many more.

Wonder Boy is scheduled to be aired on 25th of June, 8pm. (fyi, it is on Rain's birthday!)

A sneak peek revealed for the show, Wonder Boy. Look at the interactions between KwangMin and YoungMin. How cute! No matter how awkward you guys might be around each other with the cameras around. as long as you two stay by each other's side. Bestfriends aren't complaining :)

I have faith that this show is going to be a hit and gain high viewing rates, cause it's Boyfriend!

Boyfriend's successful showcase in Gangnam!

News broke few days earlier that Boyfriend was going to hold a Guerilla showcase over in Gangnam for their fans after returning to the industry with their comeback titled Love Style. Boyfriend's chic image is gathering more fans for them and sky-rocketing popularity. Boyfriend successfully wraps up their first showcase after their comeback in Gangnam. 

They heated up the Gangnam street with their title song, Love Style, One Day, Don't Touch My Girl and I'll Be There. Boyfriend tweeted the photo of the showcase set up on the street before the showcase started.

After the showcase ended, Boyfriend tweeted a photo of themselves, holding an autographed Love Style album, stating that they are going to give the album first hand to their fans who have been selected as the lucky fans during the fansign. Lucky girls!

Ballad version of Infinite's The Chaser by Tritops

Hey guys, to all the Inspirits and other kpop fans who likes ballad songs, this is a version that you cannot miss! Tritops, a vocal boy group from Korea did an amazing ballad version of Infinite's The Chaser. The synchronization of the song and the angelic voice of them perfect the song. How I wish they can do a full version of the song and maybe include it in their album. Some Inspirits said Infinite should sing this version of the song. Check out the song here~!
