The sixth floor of Sungei Wang was abuzz with the chitter-chatter and excited squeals last Saturday as devoted TVXQ! fans gathered at JPM Music’s roadshow, just one week ahead of the highly anticipated TVXQ! ‘Catch Me’ Live World Tour Concert in Malaysia.


The wait is almost over and TVXQ!’s arrival is near, with just days left before Malaysia’s Cassiopeia share the experience of a lifetime! At the roadshow, the build up of excitement among fans was more apparent than ever as attendees banded together, breaking out in song as the duo’s hit Catch Me played in the background. Unable to contain his enthusiasm, one young man even bravely took to the stage to show off his dance moves to TVXQ!’s Mirotic & Keep Your Head Down.

Sungha Jung One Night Only Live in Kuala Lumpur 2013

Sungha Jung who just turned 15 years old has been touted by many netizens as one of the most talented youngest fingerstyle acoustic guitarist of our generation. Born in South Korea, Jung first picked up the guitar in early 2006 after watching his father play. He then taught himself by watching video clips on the internet.


In a few months, he could play so well that his father posted his first video on Youtube and to date he has more than 400 videos, of which his cover of Pirates Of The Caribbean theme song has more than 22 million views. He has also won numerous awards on YouTube and garnered close to half a million subscribers.


At the age of 14, Jung released his first acoustic guitar album in 2010 titled ‘Perfect Blue’ produced by renowned German musicians: fingerstylist Ulli Boegershausen and composer Thomas Kessler.


Jung picked up the ukulele in 2006 after watching Jake Shimabukuro’s infamous cover of ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’. Without any music scores, he figured out the notes and fingering after a few hours. The recent video of his ukulele arrangement of ‘I’m Yours’ hit more than in less than 6 months of posting.


Jung’s inaugural performance in Malaysia would include acoustic guitar and ukulele. His repertoire includes pop, rock, and new age.

Lee Min-Ho was born in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul, South Korea on June 22, 1987. In the 2nd year of his high school career, Lee Min-Ho turned his attention to acting. By the time of Lee Min-Ho's senior year in high school, he joined Starhaus Entertainment with the help of an acquaintance. After going through training, Min-ho started auditioning for roles and landed smaller roles in several television dramas. His major breakthrough came with Min-ho landing the lead role in the KBS2 drama "Boys Over Flowers" as Ku Jun-pyo. The television series became immensely popular and regularly received ratings of over 30% in South Korea. Lee Min-Ho is currently majoring in Film & Art at Konkuk University.

In 2011 Lee Min-Ho starred in popular drama series "City Hunter." The drama was based off a Japanese manga by Tsukasa Hojo.


With the release of Lee Min Ho’s special album, he will go on a live world tour concert series to 10 countries including Korea, Beijing, Taipei, Bangkok, Osaka, Tokyo, Malaysia, Shanghai, Myanmar and Hong Kong. The tour will last until July and each concert will be in the hybrid format of a talk show.

However, the purpose of this album is to thank to supportive fans. Lee Min Ho’s domestic and international fans have been asking for this album and Lee Min Ho put two years of time and effort into this album in return. Moreover, a part of the profit made from this album’s sales will be donated to charitable organizations helping people in need. 2 May 2013 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) – Co-organisers Running Into The Sun (RITS) and Woohoo! Experience are pleased to announce today that there will be 4 ticket categories at RM588, RM488, RM388 and RM188 for the G-DRAGON 2013 WORLD TOUR: ONE OF A KIND IN MALAYSIA concert. Since the announcement of G-Dragon’s maiden solo concert in Malaysia, fans and media alike have been abuzz with anticipation about the staging of the K-Pop maestro’s show; to help cope with the expected rush for tickets when they go on sale, a special ticket launch event will be held on 11 May 2013, 10am – 5pm at Fahrenheit88.


12 ticketing counters have been arranged for at the launch and online and outlet bookings will only begin on 11 May from 2pm onwards to help ease the expected high traffic when sales start.


Cat 1 (RM588) tickets will only be available at the launch, and to thank fans for their support, RITS has specially arranged for Cat 1 ticket holders to receive autographed posters on concert day, with collection details to be released at a later date via the RITS website and Facebook page.


In anticipation of a rush for merchandise on concert day, 2 merchandise counters will be set up at the launch for pre-sales; 1 counter will cater exclusively to ticket-holders while the other will be open to the general public. Merchandise may be viewed on the RITS website or Facebook page, and those wishing to make a pre-purchase at the launch will have to fill up a form and pay in cash only, with collection of merchandise on concert day. Collection details will be released at a later date via RITS website and Facebook page.

G-Dragon, the leader of global superstars BIGBANG who put on an explosive performance here at their one-night only concert last year, will be holding his first-ever solo concert in Malaysia, to be held at Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil on 22 Jun 2013, 8pm. This will be the only outdoor concert of his tour, and Malaysian fans can look forward to an exhilarating night of high-energy performances bolstered by this unique open-air experience. With dazzling choreography by renowned choreographers Travis Payne and Stacey Walker, both of whom worked extensively on Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” tour, audiences can look forward to adrenaline-charged performances by G-Dragon and his crew.

Apart from being a celebrated composer, lyricist and producer, G-Dragon is a widely-regarded fashionista, winning numerous accolades for his fashion style, and has also achieved the distinction of being the only male to feature on CNN’s ‘50 reasons why Seoul is the world's greatest city’ list. Constantly proving his mettle for producing chart-topping hits such as Crayon and That XX, G-Dragon has won various awards for his music including the digital bonsang for One of a Kind at the recent 27th Golden Disk Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Korea’s equivalent of the Grammy Awards.

G-Dragon will be staging 26 concerts in 13 cities across 8 countries, drawing over 550,000 fans to his shows. This tour marks the first time that a Korean solo artiste will be holding concerts in four of Japan’s domes.

JPM Music's roadshow for TVXQ attracts a crowd of adoring Cassiopeia

JPM Music’s surprise roadshow held for TVXQ! fans at Tropicana City Mall last Sunday proved to be a great success as Malaysia’s Cassiopeia came out to show their love for the band and pick up some fantastic TVXQ! goodies. With the impending arrival of K-Pop’s beloved kings and their spectacular ‘Catch Me’ Live World Tour just weeks away, JPM Music and joint presenter Magnum hosted the roadshow as a special treat to true TVXQ! fans.

The event which included a singing competition, Q&A sessions and a lucky draw, gave Cassiopeia chances to get their hands on highly sought after TVXQ! Press Conference passes. Numerous fans plucked up the courage to belt out TVXQ! tunes on a public stage but it was sisters Leong Mun Chi and Leong Rui En, performing the popular title track Catch Me, who most impressed the judges as they sang and danced their way to a win. Runner up, Niky Teoh, earned herself a pair of Premium Rock Zone tickets for her performance of the song Humanoids. Jimmy Yek’s rendition of Mirotic won him a TVXQ! album whilst Ho Chi Yin and Liew Lee Yen’s creative use of balloons in their performance got each of them a Premium Rock Zone ticket. Also winning themselves a Premium Rock Zone ticket each were sisters Jazreen Azman an Jazmeen Azman who played a special acoustic guitar performance of Maximum and Hey and Norateelah Roslan who showed off her best TVXQ! dance moves.

The Q&A sessions which were held at various times during the course of the day, saw fans walking away with the latest official TVXQ! concert poster. Mazniffa Mustaffa, aged 30, emerged the winner of the special press conference pass in the lucky draw. She’s just one of the many fans who are proof that you don’t need to be a giddy teenager to appreciate timeless pop acts like TVXQ!. As the concert nears, the excitement builds and it’s clear that Cassiopeia are ready for a fantastic evening of U-know and Max’s spectacular vocals and impressive dance moves!

Fans attending the concert which will be held at Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam on 18th May 2013, are advised to take note that the concert time has been changed to 6.00pm. For those who are interested but have yet to make arrangements - tickets are still available (but in limited supply) so don’t delay and miss out on this experience of a lifetime!
