16 October 2012

Kenanga Wholesale City was packed with kpop fans as it was the ticket launch day of 2012 Asia Super Showcase organized by Marctensia and Universal Music Malaysia. Fans started queuing up as early as 4am-7am although the ticket was launching at 12pm. Fans lined up in front of the closed gates, just to make sure that they can secure one good ticket for themselves to see Super Junior M, BtoB and Exo M.

The flow of the event was very organized. Fans were not pushing each other but lining up in order instead. Floor plans were uploaded a day before the ticket launch so that ticket buyers can have a good look on which lane they should be queuing up. Before the clocks struck 12pm, the organizers played a few songs sang by the artiste and get the fans to sing along.

Fans started buying tickets right on time. Staffs and securities were in tight hands as they were busy sorting out tickets, counting money, taking care of the safety of the fans and make sure the flow is smooth. Fans were happy jumping around after getting their desired tickets. All ticket holders are entitled to get a Q&A form from the backstage after purchasing their tickets. They wrote down the question they would like to ask the artiste and placed it into separated boxes.

The staffs were working fast and hard but lines were still long after 2 hours. We could expect a full house on the 2012 Asia Super Showcase in Malaysia event day.

Wonder Girls was in Malaysia a few years back for their first ever concert at Genting Highlands. This time, Wonder Girls are back to Malaysia to see their supportive Wonderfuls. The concert was held at Stadium Negara. Although the opening act wasn't JJ Project (Singapore had JJ Project as opening act), the concert was still full with female Wonderfuls.

As expected, Wonder Girls kicked off their concert with their recent hit title song "Like This". Fans stood up immediately when the girls showed up causing the VVIP and VIP area turned chaotic. Although the securities were trying their best to control the crowd, the girls' power were unresistable. Luckily nobody was hurt. The girls continued their concert by greeting the Malaysian fans in Malay. There were some mispronouncation but their covered up with their shy smiles.

Throughout the concert, they sang songs from their debut album until the recent US album. "So Hot" was performed by Yu-bin during her solo stage, "GNO", "Be My Baby" was specially performed by the girls wearing Malaysia's traditional costume Baju Kurung, "2 different tears" was sang in a different version, "Like Money", "Nu Shoes" and many more. Sun-ye's solo stage was extraordinary as she played the keyboard and sang Miss A's Touch. It was a new feeling hearing Sun-ye's voice singing Miss A's song.

"Nobody" was the encore song. Fans stood up and race to the barrier in front of the stage to catch a last glimpse of the girls. The girls were so friendly and started handshaking with their fans and handed the mic over to the fans to sing along with them. During the concert, Wonder Girls threw printed T-shirts and also candies for the crowd. Fans went wild when the stuffs were thrown towards them.

Wonder Girls said that it was great to be back in Malaysia and they will definitely come back to Malaysia soon. We can see the girls really enjoyed themselves here in Malaysia as they constantly tweeted Malaysia to thank the fans on Twitter. Yu-bin celebrated her birthday in Malaysia too. She later uploaded a birthday cake's photo which was given by Malaysian fans.
