Meet Running Man’s Lee Kwang Soo In Malaysia

Malaysia, 4 November 2013 – Malaysians along with other international countries have embraced the infectious and unique new form of “urban action variety, called The Running Man since its 2010 premiere in Korea. At the time, most variety shows were either talk-centered (talk shows like Strong Heart or even varieties like Family Outing or 1N2D which focused primarily in cast interaction) or game centered (Dream Team and to a lesser degree, X-Man).

Running Man was an interesting mix of both; it offered a fixed cast completing very high-concept and ever-changing races performed in a new landmark every week. The show sought to do the unexpected, implementing new missions or tasks that aimed to thrill or intrigue. The characters continue to grow and win the affection and devotion of fans not just in Korea but the world including Malaysia.

Malaysian fans of Running Man will be in store for a session that will get them up and close with one of the cast most “paid attention to” personalities; Lee Kwang-Soo; who is known as the framing master, betrayer, and giraffe in the show. He was originally only known to be timid and quiet at the show’s commencement but slowly became the show’s resident traitor as betrayal became all the more prominent in the show. His hilarious and charismatic personality in Running Man propels him into international stardom and even given the title of Asia’s Prince because of his immense popularity across Asia.

JS Concert Productions with Faith & D Entertainment and King Kong Entertainment proudly presents the much anticipated Lee Kwang Soo Fan Meeting In Malaysia that will be held at 7pm on Saturday, 4th of January 2014 at KWC Fashion Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

The Lee Kwang Soo Fan Meeting will offer Malaysians a chance to see him perform and serenade them with songs and dance live whilst getting to know him up close and personal beyond the personae they see him as on the small screen as in The Running Man. He will participate in the various interactive fun and games which will be spontaneous and riotous for all involved, surely and event of epic fan meets artist proportions that must not be missed.

2013/2014 Leessang 1st Asia Showcase in Malaysia details

2013/2014 LEESSANG 1ST ASIA SHOWCASE IN MALAYSIA

This event is the Leessang’s first showcase in Asia. Leessang is one of the most popular hip-hop duos in Korea. Last year in 2012, Leessang’s nation wide concert tour across 10 cities in Korea was a huge success with all tickets sold out within minutes, proving Leessang’s popularity as a hip-hop artist. In 2013, Leessang successfully ran their first concert in New York and LA, with their broadening fan base worldwide.

Apparently, Gary and Gill from Leessang are more popular as an entertainer in Asia, thanks to the popular variety shows, “Running Man” and “Infinity Challenge”. However, if you want to see Gary and Gil, one of the most loved hip-hop artists in Korea, do not miss this showcase. And it is Leessang’s 1st showcase in Malaysia.

Leessang is a Korea’s iconic hip-hop duo with Gary (Kang Heegun) and Gill (Gil Sungjoon).

Their latest single album, “Tears” in 2013 was a collaboration with “Double-side Kick”. The song was ranked number 1 in all the Korean music charts upon release. Leessang produced all their 8 albums - as of now - on their own, showing their artistic talent as a musician. Each album released was a hot issue, topping all the music charts in Korea.

Now, Gary is earning fame across Asia thanks to the Korea’s hit variety show, “Running Man”. Fans in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing were lucky to see Gary recently through “Running Man” fan meeting. Gill is also a co-emcee for “Infinity Challenge”, the most popular variety show in Korea, loved by a lot of fans with his friendly character.
