1M4U is a cool platform to promote volunteerism to urban youth through sharing of experiences by selected champions of volunteerism who are successful in their own arenas. The speakers for the day were Tan Sri Tony Fernandes (Chairman of QPR Football Club, Founder of Caterham F1 Formula One team and Group CEO of low cost airline AirAsia), Dato' Ruby Khong (President of Kechara Soup Kitchen), Deborah Henry (Miss World & Universe Malaysia, TV host, actress, model, MC, ambassador and co-founder of her own charity), Matthew Supramaniam (A leading boy soprano), Michael Teoh (National Youth Icon, award winning entrepreneur and Malaysia books of record holder), Nick Allaroice (Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Change.org and founder of Change.org Australia, Melbourne's Top 100 Influential people by The Age Magazine), Scott Hammell (World's Highest suspension jacket escape, Guinness World Record holder of Longest Juggling Duration, World's Fastest Moving Card tricks, and Highest Blind-folded skydive), Pushpa Basnet (Founder/President of Early Childhood Development and Butterfly Home, 2012 CNN Hero of the year award winner), Henry Golding (The 8TV Quickie host and support host for E! News Asia), Ben Ibrahim (TV Presenter & MC, Host/Anchor of Astro Awani's Entrepreneur business talk show, Basketball Commentator of Asean Basketball League, columnist of Star newspaper and blogger of Paradise Malaysia), Chester See (Face of Disney Channel's Disney 365 in 2006,  YouTuber), David Choi (YouTuber who debuted #97 on iTunes top album charts), Jason Chen (Singer,YouTuber) and Jinnyboy a.k.a Jin Lim (Hitz.fm Morning Crew host, YouTuber).

The event started as early as 8AM and many volunteers have attended the morning talk event. Malaysia's Prime Minister Dato' Sri Haji Mohd Najib Razak showed up surprisingly and was warmly greeted by the awesome crowd. The speakers presented their presentation with slides, graphics and interesting videos. The presentations of theirs truly inspire urban youths. They shared their experiences in volunteerism and encourage youths to involve themselves in volunteerism as volunteer opportunities come in a variety of exciting platforms.

The talk session ends around 5PM with Jinnyboy interviewing and having a small chat session with the YouTubers - Chester See, Jason Chen and David Choi. Fans went wild when the 3 of them appeared on stage with their cheerful smile. As this was their first time in Malaysia, the heat definitely hit them as they were sweating throughout the session.

The most anticipated concert kicked off with Mizz Nina as the opening artiste. The MC kept fans entertained by interacting with them and giving out exclusive prizes. Followed by many local singers such as Hujan, Project E.A.R., K-Town Clan and Narmi to name a few. There was a break in between the concert. Audience from the normal zone were placed in with the VIP area to fill up the spaces. As packed as sardines, fans were all hyped up when Jason Chen was invited on stage to perform.

Jason Chen sang "Bestfriend", "AutoTune", "When I Was Your Man", and "普通朋友". He was sweating continuously as if he just took his shower. Fans signaled him and threw a pack of facial tissue on stage for him. He kindly said thank you and used it immediately. He was so shocked when he saw the amount of fans cheering for him. He took out his phone and started recording the fans and taking pictures of the crowd. He even gave out his official t shirt and wristbands to the crowd.

Next up was David Choi. Fans swamped up as soon as he stepped on stage. David told fans he just broke up couple days ago and wrote a song on the relationship. Although it was hard to sing as memories kept popping out in his mind, he pulled it off perfectly. He sang "By My Side", "You and Me", and "That Girl". David was happy to see fans standing and cheering for him that night. David sang with his guitar that night and melted fans' heart.

Last but not least, Chester See went up stage with his phone on his hand and started recording the crowd. Unlike David, Chester performed his songs with a keyboard. He too confessed that he just broke up and is single now, drawing screams from the female fans. He sang his songs "God Damn You're Beautiful", "I'm Falling For You", and also a new song with a smile on his face. The stage was getting warmer as Chester wore long sleeves that night. He teased fans by asking do they want him to take off his necktie and then teased them again, showing off his forearm this time. Fans were desperate for some abs flash but it didn't happen. Chester See's fan service was over the top as he replied a fans who was holding a fan board that reads "I Love You, Marry Me" with "Yes, I Love You". He saw a fan board with the caption "Kiss Me" and he pointed at her direction and said "I'll kiss you later."

After Chester's performance, Jinnyboy showed up on stage and promised fans that this is definitely won't be the last stage from them. Jinnyboy said that this might be the biggest crowd they ever had for YouTubers.

Kuala Lumpur, 1st March 2013 – Leading fashion brand Chargers Outfitters joins ‘F.Y.I On Stage’ as the Title Presenter for Korean acoustic band Lunafly’s show in Malaysia. The event, dubbed “F.Y.I On Stage with Lunafly in Kuala Lumpur” will be held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus on 30th March 2013, making Lunafly the first Korean act to be part of this series of events which introduce and highlight talented undiscovered artists in new media.

Following the earlier announcement for American pop-sensation Demi Lovato and K-Pop stars U-Kiss who will be performing on the 22 March; the Backstreet Boys has been signed on to headline the second and final day of the music gala on 23 March with their biggest hits repertoire.

The Backstreet Boys, one of the biggest boy bands ever with over 130 million albums sold worldwide are set to celebrate their 20th Anniversary as a band this year. With the band set to embark on its 20th Anniversary reunion tour across North America starting in May 2013, the appearance in Kuala Lumpur serves as a prelude and a special occasion for its Malaysian fans with the band performing together prior to kicking off their big tour.

The quintet made up of AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, and Nick Carter have developed their music over the years from teen-inspired pop tunes that made them superstars to evolve to more adult contemporary undertones evident in their come-back albums in 2005 – Never Gone and in their 2007 follow up - Unbreakable.

The 2009 release of This is Us featured big hook songs like “PDA”, “Bye Bye Love” and “Straight Through My Heart” featured tracks that reminded fans of the Backstreet Boys magic.  The album featured the group’s classic sound and vision while also placing it squarely in today’s music environment.  More recently, the Backstreet Boys released a Christmas single, “It’s Christmas Time Again” in 2012.

Korean Sensation IU replaces Rainbow and Girls Day
Meanwhile, due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizers have also informed that two Korean K-Pop acts previously announced, Rainbow and Girls Day will not be able to perform at the Twin Towers @Live 2013.

Countdown in September 2008 with her debut single "Lost Child" which was later released as the title track from her debut mini-album Lost and Found several weeks later. She shot to stardom with her full studio album Growing Up as well as composed and sung for multiple Korean dramas and completed her solo tour of South Korea in April 2012. Her latest single album released in May 2012 was titled “Spring of a Twenty Year Old”. IU is expected to release her new album within the first half of 2013 featuring a more mature theme.

Just days ago, TVXQ rose to the #1 spot on Tower Records‘ pre-order chart with pre-sales for their newest album "Catch Me". Immediately following 'Catch Me' being up for pre-order, the album has been receiving explosive love from Japanese fans.

Above all, many are looking forward to TVXQ's newly upgraded music. A Tower Records representative stated, "TVXQ is making their comeback with 'Catch Me'. The album holds not only dance tracks, but that of R&B, ballad, and other musical genres as well."

The trendy dutch electronic sound overlapped with orchestral performances is what makes ‘Catch Me' that much more of a 'catch'.

After the all the ups and downs faced by them, they finally return strong to their lovely Cassiopeia with their comeback song 'Catch Me' and 'Humanoid'. After all the waiting, TVXQ will be landing in Malaysia soon to rock the stage with their Malaysian fans.

20 January 2013

Fans started to queue at the Sepang International Circuit entrance as early as 8am to secure a front row view. The entrance was opened at 2.30pm. By the time, fans were geared up to enter the venue. Fans had to walk a long stretch of road before they could reach the ticket entrance. Fans have to line up according to their ticket category. The exclusive red carpet event was scheduled to start around 5.00pm so the Samsung Galaxy ticket holders were allowed to enter the venue at 4.30pm.

Gates were opened on time and fans were pleased as it was tiring queuing up as early as 8am and waited under burning hot sun for 8 hours straight. The red carpet event was simple and short as nominated artistes arrived at the red carpet area with their SUVs. It was more of a short photo taking session by the medias and the artistes did a short briefing on themselves before heading backstage to do interviews with medias.
