KUALA LUMPUR, 13th February, 2014 –  Live music fans are set to send waves across the city once  again  as  they  descend  upon  Plaza  PETRONAS  KLCC  for  the 4th instalment of Twin Towers @Live 2014 on 28th and 29th March, 2014.

Concert organiser, Live@Work,  has pulled out all stops in topping the success of last year’s iteration of the annual music extravaganza where more than 50,000 live music fans grooved to the tunes of Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, 2NE1 and U-Kiss.

Twin Towers @Live 2014 is set to bring the concert fever a pitch up with 5-time Grammy-award winning international  superstar,  CHRISITINA  AGUILERA taking centre stage as the headliner of the first night of this FREE concert on Friday, 28th March, 2014. Her debut LIVE performance in Malaysia is one of the most anticipated shows of the year.

Christina Aguilera is the latest international artist revealed after K-Pop sensation, Rain and international R&B superstar Craig David, were announced earlier. Fans will also be entertained with performances by local artistes, Joe Flizzow, Altimet, SonaOne, Ila Damia, DJ Biggie, Oh Chentaku and Irama.

More international artistes will be revealed soon and it is expected to include other big names. Music lovers can expect a diverse range of genres from Pop, Rock, R&B to Hip Hop - a unique feature of this year’s concert.

KUALA LUMPUR, 5th March 2014 – Craig David will set Malaysian hearts racing come 28 March 2014 as the British heartthrob from United Kingdom will make an appearance at the Twin Towers @live 2014.
Craig David is the second artist announced after the K-Pop sensation, Rain. They will be joined by a slew of high-profile artists to be announced on a later date. One thing is for sure, this is one party you would not want to miss.

Craig David rose to fame with “Re-Rewind” as a member of UK Garage group Artful Dodger. The track’s success led to David striking out on his own, his debut single “Fill Me In” making him the youngest male solo singer to reach number one in the UK. This was the first of four Top 10 hits from his seminal work, “Born To Do It”, which came second only to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in MTV’s Greatest Album of All-Time poll on both sides of the Atlantic.


Since then, David has continued to break the mould of contemporary R&B by boldly experimenting with different genres. This resulted in a unique sound that sold 13 million albums, picked up multiple award songs, promoted full- house shows worldwide and spawned countless imitators.

In 2012, Craig continued to collaborate with a number of artists, and released tracks with internationally acclaimed DJ Erick Morillo and Italian superstars Stereo Palma. Craig has also more recently returned to his childhood love of DJ-ing to present TS5.


When he is not busy juggling star-studded collaborations as well as weekly DJ sets on national radio and renowned nightclub Capital, David is finetuning his next album, “Following My Intuition”. Lucky fans were given a glimpse of the new material during his most recent tour, and David’s local fans should expect the same when he swings by Kuala Lumpur.

Rain to cruise his way to Malaysia for Twin Towers @Live 2014

‘RAIN’ SET TO BLAZE THE STAGE AT TWIN TOWERS @LIVE 2014!

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 Jan 2014 – Local K-pop fans will have plenty of reasons to rock up to Plaza PETRONAS, KLCC as RAIN makes a triumphant return to the live music scene. The Korean superstar is the first of a series of artists to be announced for the annual extravaganza.

He will be performing on Saturday, 29 March 2014, the second night of the two-night Twin Towers @Live 2014 concert. Rain represents the next in a long line of Korean icons to have made an appearance at the concert, after Girls’ Generation, 2NE1, Wonder Girls and U-KISS.

Twin Towers @Live has made a name for itself in the Malaysian calendar of events for bringing in artistes sure to suit everyone’s beat, from rock (Hoobastank and Orianthi) and R&B/dance (Kelis) to house (DJ Tatsuro and DJ Face). Head turning performances by Demi Lovato and Backstreet Boys last year remains fresh in the minds of the attendees.

Rain, otherwise known as Jung Ji-Hoon, is one of many responsible for heralding the Hallyu Wave that has swept the globe. Stepping foot into the music industry with debut album “Bad Guy”, his slick dance moves and smouldering good looks quickly won fans over in his native country.

But it was not until his lead role in KBS drama “Full House” that his talents found an international audience. Since then, this prolific star has dropped four studio albums, featured in four television series and conquered Hollywood with two films.

After a two-year hiatus that saw him enlist in compulsory military service, Rain showed he has not lost his edge with the release of “Rain Effect” earlier this year. He is expected to play the double lead singles "30 Sexy" and "La Song", along with a combination of newer material and greatest hits.

Plaza PETRONAS, KLCC will prove to be the perfect setting for Rain's comeback, having played host to a bevy of world-class events the likes of the national New Year’s countdown celebration and Earth Hour. Official announcement of the cancellation of ZE:A Illusionist Concert Live in Kuala Lumpur 2014

It is with deep regret to announce that the 'ZE:A Illusionsist Concert Live in Kuala Lumpur 2014' has been called off, due to contractual disagreement with the agent.


Despite all our efforts to resolve several issues, we were unable to proceed, as the terms set forth in the initial contract were not honored resorting in contract termination.

LEESSANG stormed their 1st showcase in Malaysia + Q&A session

The day is finally here! Leessang, one of the most popular duo from South Korea finally made their way to Malaysia. Around 7.30 pm on the day of the showcase at KWC Mall, the emcee has chosen 6 lucky fans to be on stage and get closer to Leessang. After the lucky draw, the showcase started. Leessang hit the stage with “Modesty is difficult” as their opening song. The show went on with their second song “I turned off the tv”.

The atmosphere got heated quickly as fans were doing fan chant loudly which was directed by Leessang. Next, Leessang performed “You’re the answer to the guy like me” and “Woman who can’t break up, man who can’t leave the woman”. Both of the songs were quoted as the “Monday couple OST” as both of the songs were often played in the hit variety show "Running Man" where one of the Leessang's member, Gary is a cast member of, and Jihyo’s scene is played. Almost every fans sang along with Leessang as everyone was very familiar with the songs.

After they have performed four songs, Leessang took a break by greeting the fans and continued with a short Q&A session.

Q : How do you think of Malaysia?
Gary : Malaysia daebak!

Q : What is your ideal girl like?
Gill : (Smiling) Song Jihyo.
Gary : (Nodding his head) Song Jihyo.

With the most waited answer being poured out by the man himself, fans got so excited and Gary did nothing but feel shy and laughed.

Q : What is your resolution for year 2014?
Gary : Firstly, I wish everyone to be happy, and "Running Man"'s filming to be successful. 
Gill : 2014, I hope we can come back to Malaysia to have a performance again.

Right after the Q&A session, two games were played with a total of 6 lucky fans which were picked earlier on before the showcase. The first game was the “Couple game”, where Leessang and two lucky fans have to stand on a piece of newspaper that were getting smaller and smaller. After several rounds, Gary won the game. The next game was “Survival game”, which is equivalent to the musical chair. However, Gary and Gill lost in the first round of the game.


After the games, Leessang went to backstage to take a break while fans enjoy the introduction video of Leessang. The video showed Leessang in successful variety shows, which is Gill in “Infinity challenge”, and Gary in “Running Man”. Leessang came back with their new outfit after the break and they performed all of their hit songs such as “It’s a laugh behind sadness”, “Ballerino”, “Gary & Gill”, and lastly “Clown”. 

Gary and Gill went back to backstage right after the song “Clown”. However, fans did not give up on calling them back for encore stage as they can’t get enough of Leessang! After few minutes, a video was played and it asked the fans to show them what they’ve got. Leessang’s fans screamed all over the hall and finally Gary and Gill were back with their encore stage, “Let’s us meet right now” and “Rush”.

During the last song “Rush”, Gary and Gill threw out their caps and towels to the fans. They thanked all of the fans for coming and hoped they have a great night with them. Leessang, come back to Malaysia as soon as possible! The showcase was organized by Pop Culture Live! Next exciting show by Pop Culture Live! is coming very soon.

Skull & Haha Meet & Greet session with the fans + Q&A details

Before the duo, Skull and HaHa reach the venue of the Meet & Greet session at Paradigm Mall, the emcee had requests from fans that they are hoping to hear the boys greeting their Malaysian fans in Malay, saying "Saya sayang Malaysia" and of course, "Aku cinta pada mu".

As soon Skull and HaHa arrive, fans went crazy and greeted them will cheers. HaHa cheekily said "You're my sayang" to the fans as he hit the stage. This marked the first visit of the duo to Malaysia. They say that everybody in Malaysia is beautiful. HaHa, a cast member from the hit variety show "Running Man" proudly labelled himself as a humorous person as he can make fans scream and laugh anytime.

On the other hand, Skull introduced himself and greeted his Malaysian fans by quoting "Malaysia Boleh" with his hand up in the air, posing. Skull knew "Malaysia Boleh" is like a symbol to represent Malaysia.

Here are some Q&A details during the Meet & Greet session of Skull & HaHa

Q: Have you tried out any Malaysian food?

HaHa: Yeah, I have tried satay yesterday.

In the meanwhile, HaHa took out his handphone and started read the list of Malaysian food that he have written down in a note in his phone. Nasi lemak and Roti canai was in his list!

Q: What about Skull?

Skull: I feel very energetic and excited. Without all of you guys we will never get here

Skull showed off his language talent by saying "Saya cinta kamu!" (I love you) 

HaHa also took a good look around the mall to see all of their fans. 

Skull: I appreciate the chance and feel honored to be here and thank you.

Haha: "Malaysia Boleh"!

However, the fans jokingly echoed "HaHa Boleh" instead.

Q to the fans: Anybody wants to give Skull & HaHa some messages?

A fan actually asked HaHa how is Byul doing. As everyone knows, Byul is HaHa's newly wed-wife. Haha was trying to be funny by picking a fight with the fan who asked about his wife.

After the short Q&A session ended, photograph session starts. Category 1 ticket holders get the chance to take individual photograph with Skull and HaHa. Besides that, they also get an autograph gift from the boys.

There were many fans who took the chance to have an individual photograph with Skull & HaHa. It was obviously that Skull and HaHa have many male fans who came to support them. 

Before ending the Meet & Greet session with the fans, Skull thanked his Malaysian fans and hope that all of them will have fun in the showcase tonight.

Lastly, they bid farewell to their fans by cheering "Malaysia Boleh".

Korean actor, Ricky Kim starring in RFC(Rainforest Challenge) 2013 as an adventurer & co-driver of Team KOMAL(Korea-Malaysia). Ricky Kim is an actor who has made his acting debut in 2006 with the 4 episode TV series the Miracle. From there, he appeared in several TV series On Air, My Darling FBI and Jejungwon. He also appeared in sports variety show, Let’s Go Dream Team season 2 and reality documentary program The Law of the Jungle. This time, his participation of RFC will be broadcast on the program, KBS Embracing World.

Ricky will be with Jacky Ho, who is a seasoned campaigner in RFC and Ricky also has an experience at other rally. He started making preparations for RFC in Korea and during this preparation time, Ricky and production staffs checked all the equipments and tried hard to adapt to the harsh driving environment.

Sammie

A relative newcomer to the field, this ambitious young talent hopes that this showcase will be a stepping stone to bigger things in her future. Of Vietnamese descent, Nyugen Dieu Huong Trang (or Sammie) is busy preparing to take advantage of this fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity to be on the same stage as her idol Jay Park. This 22 year-old now calls Singapore home and is busy making her move towards establishing herself through the canny use of social media and platforms like Youtube! to reach out to her growing fan base.

Trick

Formed in 2012, Trick is an up and coming Pop duo consisting of veteran singer, songwriter, producer Marc Lian; and rapper, songwriter Richard Jansen, a well-known face among SEA music circles. Based out of Singapore, Trick is individualistic in their ideals, and they produce all of their music themselves with Marc as point man in the studio. The duo is currently hard at work finishing up their debut EP following the release of their first single “BPM” las year. One of the most dynamic reggae live performances is finally coming to town!

Top Korean reggae artistes Skull & HaHa will be in Malaysia for the first time on Saturday, 21 December 2013 to meet fans up close and personal.

In addition to a separate meet & greet session, they will bring their fun, unique blend of Korean reggae music and high-energy performance to celebrate the year’s end with fans.

HaHa (a.k.a Ha Dong Hoon, Haroro, 河东勋 ) has been a cast member of the highly popular Korean variety shows ‘Running Man’ since 2010 and “Infinite Challenge” since 2005. On 30 December 2011, HaHa received the "Best Entertainer Award" at the 2011 SBS Entertainment Awards for his outstanding performance in the show. ‘Running Man’ is not only a hit variety programme in Korea, it has also taken other parts of Asia by storm. The programme currently goes on air regionally on ONE TV ASIA.

In addition to being a popular presenter, deejay, actor and comedian, HaHa is also a well known singer in Korea. He released his single album ‘You’re My Destiny’ in 2007 and it reached the Number 1 spot on Gaon Chart (Korean national music chart).

A new father and one who enjoys a positive image that appeals to the mass public, Haha was most recently invited to be the Ambassador for Pixar’s summer animated blockbuster, “Monster University.” He is also one of spokesmen for the Coke campaign in Korea.

Signed in the United States under Morgan Carey, the brother of Mariah Carey, Korean leading reggae artiste Skull reaches out not only to an Asian-American fan base but also Caribbean and American audiences with his distinctive interpretation of the Jamaican patois.

The reggae duo released their latest single, ‘Ragga Muffin,’ on 27 June 2013. This is the second collaboration of Skull & HaHa since the release of summer hit ‘Busan Vacance’ in July 2012.

Making a guest appearance for Skull & HaHa is DJ IT who has a wealth of experience working with heavy weights in the Korean music industry, including Big Bang, RAIN, Lee Hyori, YG Family, DJ DOC, Dynamic Duo, and many others.
